Gnome 2.14发布

虽然Linus大哥推荐了KDE，我还是坚守在Gnome阵营中，以前Gnome速度慢，就换了GnomeLite的XFce4，今天Gnome 2.14发布，消息中说速度大有提升，简直又有回归Gnome的冲动，只是不知Debian Sid中什么时候能出现了。

其实从2.10起，Gnome的速度已经不是太大的问题了；又其实Xfce4基本也是Gtk派的，所以这种性能上的提升也一样会让Xfce4运行得更快:D

Gnome 2.14新的用户特性如下：

速度提升，Gterm显示同样文字将只用Xterm 1/4的时间，而Xterm是最简单直接的一个Term了；
丰富的搜索功能，集成在文件管理器Nautilus中；
更好更多的帮助文件，估计还没有中文；
Ekiga，音视频通讯软件，可在ekiga.net注册账号，支持SIP协议；
窗口管理改进，支持远程运行，支持边框吸引；
新的桌面工具条，可打开常用软件，常用设置，以及进行网络搜索；
改进GDM；
快速的用户切换；
日历共享，Evolution支持CalDAV；
改进Epiphany的书签管理（估计用这个浏览器的人不多）；
Gedit改进，可直接编辑网络文件，支持Python插件；
改进图像浏览器；
集成屏保；
最新的多媒体框架GStreamer；
配置更容易。
