Linux一向是很灵活的，从嵌入式到大型主机都可以用。但作为普通用户，可能关心的还是易用性，毕竟黑客总是少数，Kernel级的是更少数。tryoutlinux.com作了一个主要Linux发行版大众化程度的评测，也许对新用户的选择有些帮助。但据我的理解，Debian/Redhat的位置相当奇怪。
